The Peacham Spam Trap is a platform independent tool for Internet postmasters. It reads the contents of a mailbox which receives nothing but Spam, and builds a blacklist to prevent any messages from the senders Internet addresses from ever being received again.
The Spam Trap is intended to be used as an adjunct to public blacklists. It responds quickly to spam from new addresses and blocks any subsequent spam until the address gets listed in a public blacklist. This typically takes three weeks or so.
